We’re thankful for so much, not the least grateful for you– our trusted friends and clients. We’re grateful for our shelter, the job we have, the food we eat, the smiling faces we see everyday, and our ability to reach out and help others in the community often.
Let’s look back on a great year.
Food!
Food security continues to be a big issue and there are ways to help at the local level. This well-organized inventory of Massachusetts-based food pantries can connect you with a food bank, soup kitchen or information pertaining to food assistance programs closest to you. Get involved, or share the information with your social community.
Safety
Big thank you to Watertown Police and Fire Departments for keeping us safe and providing safe spaces for our youth to walk the streets and get to after school programs safely. Organizations like the Watertown Boys and Girls Club create a critical place in our community for preteens and teens to go to spend time, engage in team sports, and more.
Shelter
It’s no secret Boston’s housing market is one of the most expensive in the nation. Home and commercial services are something our team has had experience with for many decades; we have the expertise and energy to get you to the finish line of even the most complicated deals.
Real Estate is ever changing and that is why an agent like us can be one of the smartest decisions you make before ever stepping onto a potential periphery. Reach out; we can help.
There are ways to help local homeless and women’s’ shelters here for those in critical need. Watertown’s Housing department as well as the Watertown Affordable Housing trust has a number of resources on their website worth sharing including a PDF of local shelters.
Friends, Family, Community
This year, J.M. Whitney was busier than ever, participating in the annual Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC) bike racing fundraiser for cancer, celebrating the Watertown Boys & Girls Club 50th anniversary with a spectacular, dance-filled gala, and making appearances at local meetings from the Watertown Rotary Club.
We are so grateful to have had a productive year and look forward to marching confidently into 2023 with the same great energy!
